Everything about the recent viral infamy of Yusaf Mack is insane—from the actual gay porn threesome he participated in to his decision to address it, which brought the video far more attention than it would have received if he had just ignored its existence. Perhaps the most insane thing, though, is this quote that Mack, a 35-year-old professional boxer who holds some regional titles, gave to the Philadelphia Daily News’s Jenice Armstrong to exonerate himself:

My whole life, I’ve been what they call a whoremonger. I love females. The only time I touch a man is when I’m in the ring fighting.

Ah yes, the old whoremonger defense. That one probably stretches back even further than the other defense he’s using for his undeniable participation in a hardcore gay sex scene for the production company DawgPoundUSA. Like the first bonafide porn star, Deep Throat’s Linda Lovelace, Mack is claiming that he was drugged and has no recollection of filming his infamous porn.

Armstrong writes:

Mack’s saga began earlier this year. Someone reached out to him on Facebook and asked if he would be willing to be in a porn flick. Since he was short on cash, Mack decided to do it.

Sometime in June - he can’t recall exactly when - Mack boarded a train to New York City and made his way to an address in the Bronx. Once inside the apartment where the filming was to take place, he noticed a number of naked women walking around.

But immediately, it’s apparent that there’s a problem with that reporting. The scene in question, “Holiday Hump’n” with Bamm Bamm and Young Buck (not to be confused with the Tennessee rapper), has been on the internet since at least January, when Bamm Bamm, whose Twitter account as since been suspended, tweeted about it. Here’s a manual retweet of that announcement from January 12:

And, indeed, the video was released to coincide with the holidays, per its description on the DawgPoundUSA site, which doesn’t include upload dates:

Armstrong continues:

“I think, ‘It’s about to go down.’ I needed a drink or something,” Mack told me over the phone. “They gave me a pill and a shot of vodka. I took the pill down with the vodka.”

The next thing he can recall is being on a train at 30th Street Station and someone telling him to wake up.

“I don’t remember getting on the train,” he told me.

But Mack did later notice that he had $4,500 tucked inside his pocket.

Armstrong says it wasn’t until October 16 that Mack became alerted to the existence of the clip. What’s absolutely astounding is that it took over 10 months for word to get out about a clip featuring a professional boxer whose face is onscreen for a large chunk of the 18-minute video, and who is also clearly identifiable by his tattoos—including the one on his arm that says “Yusaf.” Word of the scene seems to have started circulating on Twitter earlier this month.

As for whether Mack was drugged, it sure sounds like the laziest possible backpedaling. Granted, he does not seem particularly seasoned in the video, which I have watched in full and describe below. Here is the sex-less intro, to get a sense of Mack’s general vibe:

“Holiday Hump’n” begins with Mack doing pull-ups, as Bamm Bamm looks on, encouraging him. Mack doesn’t exactly seem with it—he’s kind of on a delay as they flirt. Maybe he’s just like that, maybe he was on something. Hard to say. Bamm Bamm criticizes Mack’s flat ass. Mack leaves to take a shower. Young Buck shows up and he and Bamm Bamm kiss each other, mostly open-mouthed but without tongue. Mack joins and stands behind Young Buck and kisses the small of his neck. Dicks emerge. Mack’s is the hardest. It looks to be on the big side of average. It’s fine.

Mack fondles Bamm Bamm’s dick and then he sucks it. Mack seems dedicated to doing a good job, but his technique is amateurish. He doesn’t get the dick in his mouth very much past the head (absolutely nothing could be even construed as an attempt to deep throat) and his head movement isn’t exactly fluid. He admires Bamm Bamm’s dick, though, remarking, “Nice piece of fruit here.”

Mack sucks dick like a straight guy, to my eyes. Bamm Bamm seems to agree. “Playin’ with it, ain’t you?” Bamm Bamm remarks. Mack sucks both Bamm Bamm’s and Young Buck’s dicks. Bamm Bamm suggests they move to “the spot,” which is an adjacent room where more dick-sucking takes place, this time in front of a blue screen. “You got a big dick with some little balls. What’s goin’ on?” remarks Mack, which I think is revenge for Bamm Bamm’s disparaging comment on his ass in the beginning of the scene. “Worry about the dick, I’ll worry about the balls,” says Bamm Bamm.

In the next setup, Bamm Bamm is wearing a rubber Batman mask that Mack will end up removing anyway in a few minutes to kiss him more thoroughly. Still in the mask, Bamm Bamm has Mack lay on his back so that he can fuck Mack’s face. “Stop holdin’ back,” says Bamm Bamm. “Let that hand go, nigga, I got you. Good to gag a little.” I really don’t think Mack has sucked that much dick for real!

Bamm Bamm is then on his back. He’s wearing one of those two-ringed cockrings, where one ring goes around the dick and the other, the balls. Mack pays special attention to Bamm Bamm’s small balls and Bamm Bamm asks him, “So whatchu tryin’ to do?” “Take ‘em off,” says Mack. Yikes. Behind Mack is Young Buck who is slapping his semi-erect cock against Mack’s ass. Then Bamm Bamm and Young Buck lie side by side and Mack goes back and forth, sucking both of their dicks, his lips never slipping much lower than the head, true to form.

Mack eats Buck’s ass, preparing it for Bamm Bamm’s condom-covered dick. Buck cringes and grunts his way through Bamm Bamm’s fucking, clearly not enjoying himself. Has anyone had gay sex before in this room? “Damn,” says Young Buck probably about a dozen times and they’re all delivered like something slightly disappointing just happened. It’s “Damn.” not “Damn!!!”

Then it’s Mack’s turn to get fucked, which happens for about the last minute and a half of the clip. Mack grunts disapprovingly as Bamm Bamm slips him the dick, and then there’s a clear jump cut, and then through gritted teeth, Mack says, “Come on—that’s all you got?” He was clearly directed to say that. Bamm Bamm pounds away, not particularly enthusiastically, and Mack goes, “Aaaaah,” in a throaty register a bunch of times. The video fades to black, sans a single cumshot out of the three involved dicks.

It’s a bad scene. Only Bamm Bamm seems truly comfortable.

Armstrong reports that Mack has 10 children and is engaged to be married to a woman. Some of his children have inquired about the video. Writes Armstrong:

“I’m just hurt right now,” he told me. “I can’t really sleep at night, but I’m getting by. . . . Everybody thinks I’m going to hurt myself. I’ve got to stay strong for my children.”

He told me he was unconcerned about what people are saying about him on social media or elsewhere.

“All my real friends who really know me, know I like females,” Mack added. “I’m still me. You’ve got to realize that the ones that are not really talking to me are the ones that probably have skeletons in their closets.”

In the ensuing social media furor, many have pointed to what looks to be Mack’s personal (as in non-professional) Twitter account, on which several pictures of naked men and gay sex (like this one and this one from another DawgPoundUSA video) have been favorited—alongside pictures of naked women. This account was particularly active during the end of 2014, just before “Holiday Hump’n” was released.

I reached out to Mack, and emailed and called DawgPoundUSA for a comment but have yet to hear back from anyone. I will update this post when I do. Regardless, this banner is currently featured prominently on the site:
