Phillip Seymour Hoffman's will was filed in a Manhattan Surrogate Court this morning, and his last wish was for his 10-year-old son to be raised somewhere with culture.

Hoffman's will specifies that it was his "strong desire" for his son to be raised in Manhattan, Chicago, or San Francisco.

"The purpose of this request is so that my son will be exposed to the culture, arts and architecture that such cities offer."

If those locations were not feasible, the will says, Hoffman wanted his son to "visit these cities at least twice a year."

Hoffman apparently made the will in 2004, before his two daughters were born. The bulk of his estate will go to his longtime girlfriend, Mimi O'Donnell.
