Peyton Manning Would Like To Thank God and Budweiser for His Superbowl Win
How much can a person’s dignity be sold for? How much did Budweiser pay Peyton Manning for a plug immediately after his team won Superbowl 50? The answers are one and the same.
This was his first interview after winning the Superbowl, mind you. Manning is committed to Budweiser, in the way that the Clydesdales are committed to Budweiser. He’s all in.

Naturally, the #brand overlord rewarded Manning for his good faith and tribute, offering him a public display of affection in addition to the check, which is probably in the mail by now.
Congrats to Peyton and the whole @Broncos team. Where would one ship 50 cases of Bud? Just curious. #ThisBudsForYou #SB50

Update: Apparently, Manning was reportedly not paid by Anheuser-Busch, which owns Budweiser, to mention the brand after his win.
A rep for @AnheuserBusch tells me: Peyton Manning "was not paid to mention Budweiser. We were surprised and delighted that he did."

However, the plot thickens: Manning reportedly owns a stake in two Anheuser-Busch distributors.
According to published news reports, Peyton Manning has some ownership stakes in Bud distributorships, which might explain tonite's mentions
