A nurse who appeared on a recent episode of Untold Stories of the ER told the horrifying story of a pageant mother who fed her daughter tapeworms to slim her down for a competition.

Maricar Cabral-Osori recounted admitting the girl to the ER and later discovering her in a bathroom, screaming over a toilet filled with writhing tapeworms. The nurse said the mother later admitted she had purchased tapeworm eggs in Mexico and fed them to her daughter.

"You saw the mom turn white," Cabral-Osori said. "The mom was apologizing to the girl. She's like, 'I'm so sorry. You know, I just did it to make you a little skinnier. You needed some help before we went on to the pageant.' "

"It was so gross," she explained. "We were like blegh."
