Babeu had supposedly threatened the man with deportation in an attempt to keep the affair from going public.

Fox News blowhard in chief Bill O'Reilly has a serious problem with President Obama's "nanny state" and he really got a chance to flex that muscle this week. And why haven't you heard about all the civil liberties the current administration is stomping on? Why, because of the liberal media of course, another one of O'Reilly's punching bags. All in all it made for a particularly blustery week in O'Reilly-land. Here are the highlights in 60 seconds.

Tonight's episode of Portlandia was especially strong, crafting great sketches from the subjects right in its wheelhouse: the inability to remain cool as we age and the infantilization of male hipsters. This sketch brought them both together superbly, as Fred and Carrie swapped genders to bring back Nina and Lance. It's a great bit of commentary about our reliance on technology and the power struggle inherent to any relationship. Also, that completely superfluous fart sound effect is perfect.

At the tail end of tonight's Real Time, Bill Maher took a moment to ruminate on the way conservatives treat President Obama, whether it is heckling him during the State of the Union address or, more recently, Governor Jan Brewer throwing her finger in his face and then saying she felt threatened. Maher believes that no other President has ever gotten treated as such to his face and he is probably right. Wonder what could be behind it all.

Mystery solved, sort of: It seems reasonably clear to me that Daniel Kaufman, a.k.a., Dan Kay, a.k.a. Dan Katze, a.k.a. the Busted Chef, a.k.a. the Montauk Grifter, never actually worked as a producer on Hell's Kitchen, as he repeatedly claimed to the people he conned. But he definitely managed to convince several of the show's former contestants that he worked there, which is some fairly acrobatic grifting.

The FBI once again proves it is the best in the world at disrupting the terrorist plots it creates. A Moroccan man in his 30s was arrested on his way to what he thought would be a suicide bombing on the U.S. Capitol. But the bombs strapped to his chest were fakes, supplied by the FBI.
