The millionaire husband of British chef Nigella Lawson has admitted to police he assaulted his wife during an argument at a restaurant last week, after initially dismissing the incident as "a playful tiff." Over the weekend, photographs surfaced of Charles Saatchi, 70, grabbing his wife's throat with one hand a total of four times and also pinching her nose. Lawson left the restaurant in tears. A hilarious brunch!

The House of Representatives is today expected to pass a bill that would cut off legal abortions in America 20 weeks after fertilization. The bill likely has no chance of advancing through the Senate, but ThinkProgress reports that this kind of legislation is succeeding on the state level in places around the country.

Once a spiritual mentor to the likes of Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Kirstie Alley, and Greta Van Susteren, Rathbun left the church in 2004 to practice Scientology independently. He runs a blog called Moving On Up a Little Higher, and has been vocal regarding his displeasure over many of the Church's practices. He says this has resulted in harassment.
