Neetzan Zimmerman · 10/08/13 04:49PMWhile politicians argue incessantly around President Obama's healthcare system overhaul, one thing gets frequently lost in the din: Does Obamacare actually improve America's healthcare system.
Dartmouth’s Most Wholesome Frat Bros Send The Classiest Emails

For about a year, the brothers of Dartmouth College’s Beta Alpha Omega—the straight-laced fraternity that famously hosted Rick Perry after a Republican debate in October 2011—have corresponded about house debauchery, fraternity rituals, and other key topics using Google Groups, apparently to avoid using Dartmouth’s own servers (and the eyes of college administrators).
Obama: "We Can't Make Extortion Routine as Part of Our Democracy"
Cord Jefferson · 10/08/13 04:27PMIn a shutdown statement followed by a press conference this afternoon, President Obama said much of the same things about America's government standstill that he's been saying since last week: This is a situation caused by a handful of recalcitrant GOP jackasses who are unwilling to talk reasonably about how to end this mess. It is impossible to overstate this fact.

Couples Have Sex in Box on British TV, Discuss It After
Rich Juzwiak · 10/08/13 03:36PMLast night, Sex Box premiered on Channel 4 in England, apparently confusing a bunch of Twitter users in the process. That's weird because the premise is simple: A couple enters a room in a box onstage and has sex while a panel of sex experts (including the U.S.'s own Dan Savage) discusses sex amongst each other. When the disheveled, blissful couple emerges, they join the conversation for a perfectly cringey interrogation. Supposedly, having sex before such a talk opens people up (emotionally, that is). Also, this is a show and shows need a gimmick.
