We ask because superstar tech reporter Nick Bilton admitted to doing so—or at least attempting to—on last week’s episode of Leo Laporte’s "This Week in Tech" podcast. Here’s what Bilton said:

Former Democratic gubernatorial candidate and current Virginia State Senator Creigh Deeds is in critical condition after being stabbed at his home Tuesday morning. His son, Gus, was shot to death during the incident. UPDATE: According to NBC4's Julie Carey, Deeds was stabbed by his son, who then committed suicide.

Two suicide bombings rocked the Iranian Embassy in Beirut on Tuesday, killing at least 23 people, including an Iranian diplomat, and injuring more than 140. While there's been no official claim of responsibility, the attacks appear to be related to the ongoing civil war in neighboring Syria, where Iran has been a major supporter of President Assad's regime.

Last week, rapper Kendrick Lamar was honored among GQ's elite in the magazine's Men of the Year issue. But Lamar's label boss didn't want the honor: Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, who represents Top Dawg Entertainment, unceremoniously pulled his artist from the party that accompanied the issue, calling out writer Steve Marsh's profile, "Kendrick Lamar: Rapper of the Year," for its "racial overtones."
