Yesterday, Seth Rogen testified before the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health, and Human Services to raise awareness about Alzheimer's Disease, from which his mother-in-law suffers. The testimony was, of course, hilarious but it was also surprisingly touching.

On Thursday, dozens of masked gunmen believed to militant Russian nationalists seized several government buildings, including the regional parliament building, in Simferopol, the capital of Ukraine's Crimea region, and raised the Russian flag. Meanwhile, across the border, more than 150,000 Russian troops performed readiness tests as Russian fighter jets patrolled the Ukrainian border for the second straight day.

The bits of good news had that hot, paper-fresh-from-the-printer smell that Allison Williams likes, and were stacked so deep that they insulated her apartment from the winter chill and the sad February noises trying to sneak through its big, clean windows. This footage of KTVU's Heather Holmes' nose unleashing a torrent of snot on her face as she reports on Miley Cyrus' Monday show in Oakland is great for the snot alone. But what makes it a moment of perfect television is that Holmes begins the intro to her report by saying, "People are just now starting to trickle out." And they're not the only ones.
