NYPD Shuts Down A, C, B, D Trains for Escaped Prisoner Manhunt
New Yorkers! If you were planning on taking the A, C, B or D trains this afternoon, you may want to reconsider, since an escaped prisoner is maybe also commuting on those trains, and police have shut them down in order to find him.
The A and C trains between Columbus Circle and 168th Street, the B train between Brighton Beach and 145 Street, and the D train between between Herald Square and Yankee Stadium have all been suspended while police search for the prisoner (we're thinking, for the movie, Ryan Gosling?), in custody "for allegedly ripping necklaces off several victims".
NBC New York reports that the guy—who took off while being led out of his apartment on on Saint Nicholas Ave in Harlem—is still in handcuffs, too. He's wearing a yellow t-shirt and jeans. This is just like The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3! Or, no, 16 Blocks? It's definitely like some movie. Manhattan?
