NYPD officers reportedly discovered a grisly death scene at a luxury apartment complex this weekend after the missing woman's parents called 911 requesting a wellness check.

Sailor Tindall, 41, was reportedly a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology living in an upscale Battery Park City condo. According to the Daily News, her parents—who live in Texas—grew concerned after they stopped hearing from her. It's not clear how long she was in the apartment before police discovered her body Saturday.

Investigators were racing to determine if the gruesome death was suspicious, and one police source said investigators had yet to find a farewell note inside her sixth-floor apartment at the Liberty House, a doorman building on Rector Pl. where condos can fetch up to $1 million. No signs of a struggle were found, the source added.

According to reports, the bloody knife was found near her body.
