Miley Cyrus obtained a temporary restraining order on Friday against an Arizona man who believed that the singer was speaking to him through the radio. His name is Mr. Wrecking Ball, JK.

According to the AP, the man, actually named Devon Meek, 24, was detained by the LAPD's Threat Management Unit on May 16 outside of a property he believed to be Cyrus's. Meek, who believes that Cyrus communicates with him through her songs, was placed in custody at a mental health facility where he still resides. Detective Rosibel Smith wrote in a sworn statement that Meek said that they should shoot him in the head if he couldn't meet Cyrus.

Smith wrote that a police officer who interviewed Meek informed him "that Mr. Meek stated that when he is released from the hospital, he will not stop seeking Ms. Cyrus and that he will continue to go to Ms. Cyrus' residence until Ms. Cyrus accepts him or he dies."

A hearing to extend the restraining order for three years is scheduled for June 16.
