Saturday Night Live finally strung together two really solid episodes in a row, which means we get another "cut for time" sketch that feels like it should have been in the show: Martin Freeman selling Santa traps in an infomercial that takes a turn from cheesy to disturbing.

But although the sketch was good—and Cecily Strong has turned out to be excellent since being taken off Weekend Update in September—there wasn't a lot of fat to trim this week. Martin Freeman was one of the best hosts of the season, and it's not like you're going to cut Hobbit Office.

Maybe we can just be happy with SNL for one week, until the season finale with Amy Adams and One Direction.
