A Chinese father is reportedly temporarily stuck in South Korea because his four-year-old son drew him an adorable picture—all over his passport. UPDATE 11:05 am: As Kotaku points out, there is evidence that this is probably a hoax.

Original post below.

According to Metro UK, a family vacation to South Korea turned into a paperwork nightmare after the toddler maneuvered some alone time with a Sharpie and his father's passport. The man was apparently told by South Korean officials that he would not be permitted to leave because his passport was unrecognizable.

The four-year-old apparently had no comment on the artistic criticism.

The image was picked up by Metro UK after the desperate dad reportedly posted it on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. The picture was accompanied by a message asking for help—probably to get out of the country, but maybe also to brainstorm punishments for one very nervous toddler.
