Police are investigating an alleged shootout between two brothers in Chesterfield, Va. that ended with one brother being shot in the face and neck.

Per WWBT:

Police say a 23-year-old man living in a mobile home, had a severe showdown with his older brother. The visiting brother came to check on his sibling, after alleged prior arguments and word that the younger brother shot off a gun inside the home.

The older brother told police that when he saw his brother flash his gun, he fired in self-defense. After calling 911, the younger brother, still conscious, coughed up one of the bullets in his nose while speaking with investigators, police say.
