Man Runs Over His Own Head in Freak Accident
A Colorado man accidentally ran over his own head in a freak accident involving a cigarette this weekend.
According to reports, the driver was backing out of his driveway around 6:30 a.m. Saturday when he dropped the cigarette he was smoking down the front of his jacket and jumped out of the car to avoid getting burned.
The car, however, was still moving and knocked him over. He was pulled under the driver's side wheel, which rolled over his head, causing life-threatening injuries.
Police say an adult male relative sitting in the passenger seat was unharmed in the accident. The driver, who is in critical condition, was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive.
