In a bold statement about the nature of celebrity and stuff or something, a Los Angeles-based artist known as Plastic Jesus has put up multiple "No Kardashian Parking" signs around Hollywood.

The man sometimes called "the Banksy of L.A." (as an apparent compliment) is known for creating such incisive works of guerrilla satire, including February's Giant Oscar Statue Snorting Coke and January's Big Ol' Freedom Pencils.

"We've allowed mainstream media to become so profit-driven, we are sacrificing genuine news stories to satiate our vapid celebrity obsessions," Plastic Jesus explained to The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday, bringing the world's attention back to hard news with his internet-friendly, headline-grabbing stunt.
