The judge hath become the judged. In court this afternoon, the former TV personality Judge Joe Brown was sentenced to five days in jail for contempt of court. Brown apparently went on a vicious tirade and became "verbally abusive" after he was told his case would not be presented that day.

According to CNN,

Brown was held in contempt five times "before they were able to get him out of the courtroom." The famous judge was then booked in Memphis' Shelby County jail. (Brown, it's worth noting, is a former Shelby County criminal judge.)

Brown's show was canceled only last year, so maybe this a sign of that forced retirement itch. That mugshot certainly isn't doing him any favors.
