J-Law's Ex Gets Awkward When Host Asks: Were Those Hacked Nudes for You?
Jennifer Lawrence's ex-boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult, just wants to promote his new movie and forget about his singing in About a Boy, and Fox 5's Good Day New York had to make it as awkward as possible. After cringing through "Killing Me Softly," Hoult fielded an unexpected question about J-Law's stolen nude photos—which were originally intended for him—as gracefully as he could.
Hoult waited an uncomfortable 30 seconds for the host to get the question out, then responded, "It's shocking that things like that happen in the world. It's a shame."
That line of questioning was quickly dropped.
In her recent Vanity Fair interview, Lawrence explained that the nude photos were taken for a boyfriend with whom she'd had a healthy four-year relationship—there's little doubt she meant Hoult.
"It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he's going to look at you," she said.
Good Day New York didn't feel the need to interrogate Hoult about his relationship with pornography. Be grateful for small mercies.
