It's the 2013 Gathering of the Juggalos Infomercial
It's that time of the year again, the time in which Insane Clown Posse have released their homespun infomercial for the horrorcore duo's annual Gathering of the Juggalos, held this year from August 7 through the 11.
In the past, the Gathering infomercials were such excellent works of accidental genius that Saturday Night Live routinely parodied the spots. Each one has showcased a distinct theme, from a green-screen roadtrip motif to a Star Wars-spoofing space excursion to a last-bastion escape from the mind-controlled country's mainstream zombies. This year, the infomercial has taken the shape of a Cable news segment in which Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope are Guy Gorfey and Fats Pepper, clown-anchor personas that existed before Funny or Die's Juggalo News Network became a thing.
Featured among the all-night chaos of nude-oil grappling, tent-side tattooing, dance-party BBQing, and swimming in the on-site pond best known as Lake Hepatitis, there will also be appearances from Vanilla Ice, Rahzel, Kaiju Big Battel, along with an after-hours shindig called "DJ Clay's Horney [sic] Nuts and Big Butts Party." True story!
