Hit-And-Run Victim Goes for 2-Mile Ride on Hood of Culprit's Car
A Georgia woman accused of striking another woman's car decided to up the ante by ramming into her victim's husband and taking him for a 2-mile ride — clinging to the hood of her car.
Elton Kim, a dry cleaner from Roswell, said it all started after the female driver backed into his wife's SUV and he went to confront her.
"I said ‘Stop it’ three times," he told WSB-TV. "Then, I go to the front of the car."
Unimpressed, the driver kept moving forward, eventually forcing Kim onto the hood of her car.
She then proceeded to drive away down Holcomb Bridge Road with Kim still on board.
The ordeal finally ended two miles later.
"He could have been really hurt had he slipped off," Kim's wife Theresa said. "I don’t think she intentionally wanted to hurt him, but for some reason she never stopped to say she was sorry."
The driver, who was flashing Alabama plates, faces a felony aggravated assault charge, if she is ever caught.
Police, meanwhile, are advising the public not to stand in front of vehicles with the intent to stop the reckless drivers within.
"Just get a description of the driver, the car, the tag number and let police do their job," said Roswell PD Officer Lisa Holland.
