According to the New York Daily News, NYPD Internal Affairs is investigating the arrest of a teenage suspect who can be seen on video being punched multiple times by a plainclothes officer while three more officers work to subdue him.

The plainclothes officer swoops in during the more than eight-minute-long video's first 10 seconds, the clip's recorder shouting for police to stop. A woman at the scene who identifies herself as a lawyer, yells, "He's 12! I can't believe you just did that! After everything that's happened."

As the Daily News points out, it's unclear when the incident occurred, but the video's description, uploaded to YouTube, is dated Dec. 17:

This happened today on my way to the post office. The kids were 12. They had supposedly pushed one of their classmates down. However when the victim was asked, he said those weren't the guys. They were still taken away. 12. Years. Old.

Police told the Daily News that the arrest depicted apparently resulted from two suspects, including the one being punched, for allegedly assaulting another person with a cane.
