Here's The First Full Trailer for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues
The first full trailer for the Anchorman sequel was released late last night, and with it, the highly anticipated film's plot.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues finds Ron Burgundy dealing with a new decade (the '80s) in a new city (New York) while trying to launch a comeback at the helm of a new kind of beast (the 24-hour news network).
James Marsden joins the cast as Burgundy's rival, and Kristen Wiig guest stars as Brick's love interest.
The official synopsis follows:
With the 70′s behind him, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.” Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) – All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking New York’s first 24-hour news channel by storm.
Directed by Adam McKay and produced by Judd Apatow, Anchorman 2 is scheduled to open wide December 20.
