FAMILY JFK ASSASSINATION STORY: My grandfather was working at a psych hospital in Louisiana during that time. A lady in a drug coma was brought into the hospital BEFORE the assassination happened. She woke up AFTER Ruby killed Oswald. She flipped out, saying she had ridden with them from Florida (they left he LA due to the drug thing) and she couldn't believe they actually did it! There goes the "Ruby and Oswald" didn't know each other bit spit out from the Warren Commission. The FBI picked her up and she died a few weeks later.
I am not a conspiracy nut, I promise, but the JFK thing was kinda shady.

If that's the case, she purportedly told Louisiana highway patrol about the assassination before being admitted into a hospital for treatment of heroin withdrawal and was then comatose from November 21 until approximately November 25. She did not mention either Ruby or Oswald until after she woke up—after the assassination had already occurred. She was never picked up by the FBI and died over a year later after being struck by a car on the side of the road in Texas.
All of her treating physicians were interviewed by the HSCA. None of their testimonies credibly linked her statements in 1963 to the actual events of the assassination or to either Oswald or Ruby.

There were a lot of stories like this- some involving stripers and/or prostitutes- some are hitchhikers.
All due respect to your grandfather (who knows? His story may be the truth and all the other urban myths grew up around that one true story) but I think sometimes you just have ask yourself, absent of knowing the absolute truth, what is more likely-
Is it more likely that-
A woman woke up from a coma and started saying things that are more born out of head trauma or some other neurological disorder due to the coma than they were of an actual incident.
or
The trigger men of one of the most successful criminal conspiracies in history first blabbed to a woman they shared a car with and then after the crime- manipulated or collaborated with every single local and federal law enforcement agency, coerced or collaborated with congress and the judicial branch of the federal government to fake the historical record but not before they silenced/assassinated the patsy on live television but they neglected to put a pillow over the face of a key witness while she was already in a coma?

I get your point. And I don't think they collaborated with any local or federal law enforcement, judicial branch, etc. But I do believe they knew each other, whether the story is true or not. Alls I know is what my gramps told me- the story can also be found in a book written by the first dr who saw Kennedy after the shot. Anyway- like I said, I am not a conspiracy theorist AT ALL. In fact, I tend to be very grounded when it comes history, got my BA in it- my thesis was in The Great War though, so I do claim a bit of ignorance when it comes to anything after 1950.

Srsly, I don't see how you mix that up. Wasn't everyone born knowing that name? Also, Oswald made the comment that he thought it was so weird he was being called by his full name all of a sudden. "WHO THE HELL IS LEE HARVEY?"
