Residents of Florida City, Fl. discovered a 12-foot-long Burmese python in their neighborhood late Thursday night and did the only thing any sane person would do: they trapped it in a BBQ grill while waiting for further assistance.
Burmese pythons are native to South Asia, but are considered an invasive species in South Florida. According to ABC News, Burmese pythons' only predators in the area are humans and alligators. Members of the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue's venom unit came and took the python away, saying it would be turned over to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
