Last night on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart welcomed his old pal Bill O'Reilly as guest, ostensibly to discuss Bill O's new book Killing Patton. From the outset, however, Stewart admits that he didn't even read the thing, and starts grilling O'Reilly about his stance on white privilege.

You'd think that if there's anyone on the planet capable of convincing Bill of the error of his white-man ways, it would be Stewart—and he does make a tiny bit of headway. There's a lot of shouting, but by the end, the Fox News host admits that race, and our country's historical subjugation of black people, just might be a "factor"—get it? Factor—in determining one's success in America. Progress!
