Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, famous patriot and good buddy, caused a stir on Instagram last week with a 1996 photo where he rocked the classic(?) turtleneck-and-chain look, accessorizing with both a belt and a fanny pack. No explanation, just pure, uncut '90s Rock.

But now the story can be told. Johnson went on the Tonight Show Tuesday, where Jimmy Fallon grilled him about what he kept in a leather fanny pack in the mid-'90s. If you guessed "Pokémon cards and an inhaler," sorry. Great guess, but it was Pop-Tarts and condoms.

Turns out what the Rock was cooking was safe sex followed by a mediocre breakfast.
