New York City L train performer and hooligan Kalan Sherrard was arrested by Miami Beach police over the weekend after cops thought the "prosthetic penis sex toy" he was flashing at Art Basel was a gun. "Fuck Art Basel, fuck all you rich people!" he reportedly shouted as police hauled him away.

Sherrard was arrested by police Sunday along with Maria Valenzuela on disturbing the peace and resisting an officer without violence charges. From the Miami Herald:

According to police, Sherrard and Valenzuela were part of a crowd of about three dozen who were demonstrating and wearing masks inside the center. They attracted the attention of security, including off-duty cops, who tried to escort them out of the building.

As Sherrard began walking away, the arrest affidavit says, he placed his right hand down his pants toward his privates.

"At this point, reserve officer Pedrosa observed an unknown object being retrieved," Delgado wrote.

After Sherrard and Valenzuela were taken into custody, police said they continued to loudly protest.

The two apparently attempted to enter a convention center where Art Basel events were being held, but were denied, Sherrard told the Herald, for dressing "too artistically." After spending an hour "asking visitors for clothes" and "a very basic anti-world rant," the two "were accosted" by police.
