Primary rules and regulations have flummoxed the Donald Trump campaign to the point of hiring an actual campaign professional, a pervasive negligence that apparently reached inside Trump’s gilded home—only one of the Trump kids actually bothered to register to vote in the New York primary.

Of the three adult Trump offspring living in New York, only Donald Jr. is registered to vote in the Republican primary this April 19. Ivanka and the other one were apparently “unaware of the rules,” a common theme in the Trump campaign. They both failed to register by New York’s deadline, which, to be fair, was last October when Trump’s campaign still seemed like a joke.

“They were, you know, unaware of the rules, and they didn’t, they didn’t register in time,” Trump admitted this morning on “Fox & Friends.” “So they feel very, very guilty.”

“They feel very guilty. But it’s fine. I understand that. I think they have to register a year in advance and they didn’t. So Eric and Ivanka, I guess, won’t be voting.”

Who could have guessed Donald Trump would still be in the race? Obviously not his kids.
