Customer's Sarcasm Earns Him a Face Punch From RadioShack Employee
A RadioShack employee was arrested late last week and charged with assault after he reportedly punch a customer in the face for being sarcastic.
Police in Parsippany, New Jersey, arrived at a local RadioShack last Friday night to find a customer "holding a bloody paper towel to his left eye."
According to the customer, an employee of the store punched him in the face and "ran into the back of the store."
In the backroom, officers found 20-year-old Andre Santiago of Denville, and inquired about the customer's injury.
Santiago told one of the officers he resorted to violence because the customer "was being sarcastic."
The salesman was subsequently arrested and booked at Parsippany Police Headquarters before being released on his own recognizance.
The victim rejected the officers' offer of medical assistance.
