Today the Congressional Gold Medal — "Congress' highest expression of national appreciation for distinguished achievements" — was posthumously awarded to Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. That's Sen. Carl Levin on the left with a perfect long sigh/eyeroll combo. Levin, Boehner, Reid, Mitch McConnell, and Nancy Pelosi were tasked with holding hands and singing along to "We Shall Overcome."

To be fair, they're all tired from lunch, and this is the first time in years any of them has touched another human being.
