Escape artist Anthony Martin went skydiving while locked and chained inside a coffin. He freed himself while falling and parachuted to safety. I'm sorry, but that is awesome.

Have we become so jaded that one must apologize for thinking a freaking COFFIN SKYDIVE ESCAPE is awesome? Add a couple monkeys and a motorcycle and it sounds like the greatest thing ever.

Breathes there a man with soul so dead/ who never to him himself hath said/ why aren't more magic acts done while skydiving?/ because they are goddamn terrific.
I do kind of wish he'd emerged from that coffin wearing a tuxedo and in the company of a woman equally formally-dressed, but you can't have everything.

On a very deep level I have absolutely no understanding of people who do things like this. Just reading it strikes real terror into my heart. Do they not find it terrifying? Or is terror some kind of euphoria to them? Don't get me wrong, I am impressed. I just...why? WHY WOULD U DO THIS? Why?
