On Tuesday night Mary Pat Christie stood onstage behind Donald Trump and dutifully smiled along with all the inane remarks he made, as is her obligation as Chris Christie’s wife. Her eyes told a different story.

And when Trump closed his speech with a sexist comment about Hillary Clinton, they rolled around her head a little bit.

“The only thing she’s got going for her is the woman’s card, and the beautiful thing is, women don’t like her,” Trump said, as a woman who obviously doesn’t like him gave up pretending.
