My "liberal" Gawkerites didn't disappoint me on this story. Of course no one can forgive the Black guy for one incident. Lets wish him harm and laugh at a scary medical emergency. Ha ha ha. Lets not talk about all our White stars who have committed acts of domestic violence and racism multiple times. No they learned and we should move on. But CB naw, I mean his name is Brown and he is brown so he doesn't deserve a second chance or to move on and forgive him. I mean Rihanna did but what does she know? We should hold the grudge for her
He is a non stop dildo
I totally agree. Jackson Browne beat up Daryl Hannah, flavor flav and James Brown are in r&r hof, Sean Connery says hitting his wife is cool, Sean Penn held Madonna hostage and lord knows what his did to RWP. Frank Sinatra fought with his women, etc. Yet, this guy is such a monster? Who are you guys to pick and choose who you crucify? Bunch of hypocrites!
I don't like his actions but I'm not going to wish bad things for him. If he lived on your street and fought his gf, would you spend the next ten years egging his house and flattening his tires?
"Once incident?"
Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha! That's a good one. Really.
I agree to an extent, but the power of the photographs had a big impact in this case.
If there were photos of, say, Michael Fassbender's victim's injuries back in 2009 - I doubt he'd be where he is today.
After what you guys did to Amanda Bynes, don't you think the psychic assault has gone on long enough?
Wait. What did I do to Amanda Bynes? I've just been sitting here minding my own business.
Oh, you know.
Nah, Amanda Bynes did it to herself. Just like Lindsay Lohan and just like Chris Brown. They're weak, they're stupid and they're bored.
From a medical perspective, seizures are not induced by hate, stress, etc. They are either due to an injury to the brain (stroke, trauma), drug related (alcohol withdrawal being one example), or idiopathic (meaning, no known cause).
Wait! Maybe his rep has discovered the root cause of idiopathic - hate!
Now, if you really want to be entertained, google 'pseudoseizure' - very interesting indeed (and something I've seen a number of times).
Thank you! From the original article, he reportedly refused medical help after his "seizure". I only know seizures from my years as an ER nurse, and usually people have a postictal phase afterwards where they are pretty much unresponsive. being aware enough to refuse help makes me think he suffers from what we health care professionals call "MGM" aka being dramatic aka making shit up for attention.
You can genuinely have a seizure that results from dehydration (a booze hangover will do that). It's usually not a neurological problem, it's an electrolyte imbalance. Signs and symptoms include headache, thirst, fatigue, hypotension, dizziness on standing up.
My exact thoughts were self-(over)medicating, then pseudoseizure. Peudoseizures always put me in danger of altered air exchange. I am always either holding my breath to NOT laugh, or laughing so hard I can't breathe.
I didn't find it odd at all — I've refused certain types of medical attention after being brought to the ER post-seizure. As long as they tell me I didn't hit my head on the way down, I turn down a CT and just wait out the post-ictal fuzziness and see my neuro later. Shit, if I'd been awake any of the times before an ambulace arrived, I would have opted out of those as well. It does not surprise me at all to hear of a person who has supposedly had seizures since childhood to turn down medical attention absent extentuating circumstances. In fact, I'd be more surprised in the opposite instance — if the seizure was in fact drug-related, it was likely a surprise, in which case I would imagine his handlers would have insisted he see a doctor rather than be like, NBD.
I just want to apologize for causing your seizure, bro.
