Happy Kate Bush Day! What did you get me? A remastered deluxe edition of The Dreaming? You shouldn't have! (But really, someone should.) In just a few hours, the real elusive chanteuse, singer/songwriter/producer/interpretive dancer/small boy/occasional bat Kate Bush will play the first show of her 22-night residency in London's Hammersmith Apollo in a production titled Before the Dawn. These will be her first proper concerts in about 35 years. What will she play?! (Will she play "Suspended in Gaffa?" She better play "Suspended in Gaffa.") How will she move? Will there be banter? Will there be monsters? This is so exciting.

To properly commemorate this momentous event, BBC recently aired an hourlong documentary on Bush called Running Up That Hill: The Kate Bush Story. It featured gushing from a wide range of Bush's contemporaries and those who've been influenced by her work, including Peter Gabriel, Elton John, John Lydon, Tori Amos, Suede's Brett Anderson, Annie Clark (St. Vincent), Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes), and OutKast's Big Boi, who has long been one of Bush's most outspoken famous fans, and is probably best friends with her at this point.

The highlight of the doc was brief footage of Big Boi rocking out to Bush's 1985 smash (and only Top 40 hit in the U.S.), " Running Up That Hill." Big Bois, they're just like us.
