The 44th annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta was held in, well, Albuquerque, New Mexico this weekend. It ended spectacularly today, with more than 500 giant balloons ascending into the cloudless sky. Look at them go! Will they ever come down?

No. It was the Final Ascension. They are now in heaven.

The theme for the 2015 event was “Where Dreams Take Flight.”
