An animal trapper learned the hard way recently that if you mess with the baby moose, you're going to get the baby moose hooves.

Wes Livingston had recently captured and tagged a female baby moose as part of a four-year Maine Department of Wildlife study of the movement and behavior of female moose and their calves.

But when he went to release her into the snowy Maine wild, she turned on him as he filmed the attack.

"First time I ever got beat up by a baby moose," Livingston says after she knocks him into the snow.
