A baby takes a break from his daily struggles with concepts like object permanence and the automobile to comprehend something even more mesmerizing to his baby mind: the car wash. He may not be able to talk, but his eyes are saying, "Whoa. Trippy."

That babies are awed (and sometimes terrified) by the combination of loud noises, water, and spinning sponges is not a new discovery. A video of a 2-year-old acting significantly less chill about her first trip to the car wash went viral and made it to the Today Show yesterday:
