At Least 14 Injured in California Train Derailment

At least 14 people were injured in a train derailment in Sunol, California, on Monday night. Ten of the injuries were minor and four were serious but non-life threatening.

The Altamont Corridor Express (the ACE train) was derailed near Niles Canyon Road, which has now been closed. The fire department tweeted that non-injured passengers are being taken to the Alameda County Fair.
No ACE trains will be operating tomorrow.
