"Man, my commute is an absolute nightmare" is a phrase you will never again dare to utter. At least not in the presence of someone who depends on Beijing Subway’s Line 13 to get to work every day.

"China is explained for you in this one video," writes the Chinese culture site Beijing Cream, noting that Xierqi, the station where the 7:30 AM footage was captured last Thursday, happens to be "one of the cleaner, better-looking ones in the system."

In fact, it even has "built-in artificial bottlenecks" designed to reduce foot-traffic and human congestion.

"On some occasions, however, those fail," the English-language blog writes. "For you see, in China, sometimes there are simply too many goddamn people."
