What is going to happen:
An Ohio class SSGN is going to volley between 6 and 24 ADM-160 MALD decoys on apparent TLAM flight profiles(note this is a guess: The MALD is likely integrated with the Ohio's but this has not been confirmed. Aircraft may deploy the decoys instead). The SSGN and the Burke class destroyers will then volley a wave of 20-80 TLAM's 5 minutes flightime later. The MALD's will trigger a response from any S-400/300 SAM systems in the target area. An RC-135 Rivet Joint orbiting over the Med will detect the SAM sites engaging the MALD's and will then upload the targets to the in-flight TLAM's. 5-10 minutes after the MALD's are shot down a much larger wave of TLAM's will barrel down on the SAM sites with sufficient volume to overwhelm and in too short a time for them to reload or relocate.
Smaller TLAM strikes will follow 8-24 hours later on the units which used the nerve agent after BDA has confirm suppression of the Syrian air defense.
