Antigovernment protests in Bangkok turned violent again this weekend — on Friday, a grenade bomb killed one protestor and injured 35 others, on Saturday another protestor was killed, and today at least 28 bystanders were wounded by two twin bombs that exploded near a protest site.

The Thai government says the protestors are trying to push the violence to force a coup. But the protestors — pictured below on Friday before the grenade attack — say the government is corrupt, abusive of power, and needs reform.

Kinja user Nomadikat was there and spoke with the protestors on the ground.
