President Obama Bids Farewell to Inaugurations with Pensive Last Look at the Crowd: 'I'm Not Going to See This Again'

Though the crowd was somewhat smaller this time around, the Washington Post notes that it was still "one of the largest in history to witness a president's second inauguration," and President Obama wanted to savor every last minute of that history.
Standing on the steps of the Capitol's West Front after wrapping up his second inaugural address, Obama turned to face the hundreds of thousands stretched out across the National Mall, and took in the sight for the very last time.
"I'm going to take a look one more time," he could be overheard saying in C-SPAN's inauguration feed. "I'm not going to see this again."
