Just over a week since the New York Post ran its hugely controversial cover photo of a man about to be crushed to death by a train—headline: "DOOMED"—another man was killed in New York City, and the Post again decided to broadcast an imminent death on its cover.

Brandon Woodard, a 31-year-old law student, was executed with a gunshot to the back of his head in broad daylight in Manhattan on Monday. His murder was captured on security cameras, from which the Post extracted a still photo to run on its cover under the headline, "Drawing his gun, this assassin is about to kill."

To paraphrase Marge Simpson: the Post turned into a snuff film fanzine so gradually, I hardly even noticed.
