New Jersey governor and Mitt Romney surrogate Chris Christie did not mince praise for President Obama’s response to Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy, telling Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos, ”the administration, the president, himself and FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate have been outstanding with us so far.”

Christie also went on the Today show and Fox & Friends and said pretty much the same thing.

During his Fox News interview, Christie said he “couldn’t care less” about presidential politics during a time of crisis.

One thing Christie definitely cares about is making sure New Jersey kids get to trick or treat. “If conditions are not safe on Wednesday for Trick or Treating, I will sign an Executive Order rescheduling #Halloween,” the governor tweeted yesterday.
