"I wish we could have an honest and respectful dialogue about these complicated issues," Tina Fey told attendees at last night's Center for Reproductive Rights Inaugural Gala. "But it seems like we can't right now."

Fey went on to exclaim that it was very likely she would "lose my mind" if forced to listen to "one more gray-faced man with a two-dollar haircut explain to me what rape is."

The 30 Rock actress took specific exception to Republican Rep. Todd Akin's infamous "legitimate rape" comment, trying to explain his bewildering claim to the audience at Jazz at Lincoln Center before quickly giving up.

"You know, I can't even finish this sentence without getting dumber," she said.
