Relax: James Blunt is Not Retiring from Music
The music world was thrown into upheaval yesterday at news that singer-songwriter-British-Army-captain James Blunt had quit the business and would no longer be performing that one song of his that was everywhere a few years ago.
On the Internet, music lovers (many of whom likely bought a copy of Back to Bedlam) rejoiced, but their snark was short lived: Blunt himself took to Facebook to debunk the rumor.
"The Mail on Sunday has reported that James Blunt has split up due to musical differences. Neither could be reached for comment due to recording commitments," Blunt wrote from inside Conway Recording Studios in Hollywood.
So there you have it. James Blunt is definitely not retiring from music. Now let's all get back to not talking about James Blunt ever again.
