One week after saying Wisconsin news anchor Jennifer Livingston was not a "suitable example for this community's young people" because she's overweight and just two days after doubling down on those comments, personal injury lawyer Kenneth Krause showed the empathy you'd expect from a man in his profession and offered a half-assed apology in an interview with ABC News today.

"If she is offended, I truly apologize to Jennifer," Krause said. "That's the last thing I ever wanted to do."

He also said he might maybe possibly change what he said.

"It's possible I would revise a few things," he told ABC News.

And he denied being a bully, doing so in such a way that, if I thought he were clever enough to make a pun, would make him even more of an asshole.

"I'm in no position to bully her," he said. "She's a big media personality. I'm just a working stiff."

It also turns out that he was once overweight himself: "I was obese as a child. I've been fighting all my life."
