Today is National Coffee Day, one of countless non-holidays that would go unnoticed if not for the internet.

But since we're all in celebration mode, let's talk about the most appalling bastardizations of coffee.

I'll start. At Coffee Bean recently, I heard a woman order iced tea with a shot of espresso. I'm not even sure if this is legal. The barista tried to talk her out of it but she insisted, even saying, "I know it's going to be gross." Was this part of a dare? Were we all on a hidden camera show? I didn't see her drink it, so I can't say for sure.

I'm not a coffee purist. I order regular coffee and then ruin it with milk and lots of Splenda. I also splurge on holiday-themed beverages, and I sincerely miss Coke Blak, the discontinued coffee-and-cola combination that no sane person enjoyed.

Still, I know what's gross, and you probably do, too. So what are the most disgusting coffee orders you've ever heard? (Bonus points if you were the one making the order. I'd say this is a judgment-free zone, but who am I kidding?)
