Overworked Robber Falls Asleep While Burglarizing Oregon Home

A man in Oregon gave new meaning to the term "cat burglar" last week after he was caught sleeping on the floor of the home he was in the middle of robbing.
A Rock Creek resident alerted Washington County deputies to the presence of a sleeping man on the floor in his kitchen early Friday morning. Cristian Villarreal-Castillo had entered the home some time before 5 AM and began collecting valuables, but apparently decided to take a nap mid-way through.
Deputies found in Villarreal-Castillo's possession several items from previous burglaries committed that night.
The 20-year-old was booked into Washington County Jail and charged with two counts of burglary, attempted theft, trespassing and criminal mischief. Additional charges are likely forthcoming.
